I spent most of my life in western North Dakota. Photography became my passion in 1981 when I took a basic photography class as part of a Graphic Arts major.
Western North Dakota is not known for its scenic beauty, but several years ago I was inspired to drive many miles on back roads in what most people know as the “Badlands,” with the intention of uncovering its hidden beauty.
My efforts were well-received by North Dakota’s Department of Tourism and North Dakota Horizons magazine...and I am also pleased to have touched a few peoples’ hearts along the way.
In 2008, I expanded from still photography to video capture and production, and moved to Montana’s Gallatin Valley to capture images of Montana’s scenic mountain beauty. Again, it has been a pleasure to share those images — not only with people unfamiliar with the state, but with local folks who may not realize what can be found just a short drive away.
Though my base of operations is now in central Florida, I travel to other parts of the country as much as I can, to discover and to share the beauty of this great country of ours.
I hope you enjoy the images on this site, and that you will contact me if you need assistance with a project...or would just like to use the images.
